It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Dr Jenny Rosen, our long-standing secretary and valued committee member.

Over many years, we deeply appreciated Jenny’s unwavering dedication, her passion for the Bayview–Church Point area, and her remarkable knowledge of its history and its people.

She was instrumental in the 2016 Bayview Baths centenary celebrations —a cause especially close to her heart—and more recently with the opening of the new section of the Bayview–Church Point walkway, where she was photographed with Mayor Sue Heins and fellow committee members.

We thank Jenny for her tireless commitment, persistence, and the warm, cheerful manner with which she carried out her duties. She will be very much missed and will be a hard act to follow, leaving a large gap in our team and in our hearts.

RIP Jenny

The Bayview Church Point Residents Association (BCPRA) is a not for profit incorporated community association open to all adult residents of Bayview and Church Point.

BCPRA has been representing the interests of our local community for over 100 years. In this role it has regular contact with State and local government authorities as well as the community we serve.

The association is managed by a committee elected each year at an annual general meeting. The committee meets each month to discuss local issues and through consultation, strives to represent the best interests of local residents.

We often think our superpower is our intelligence. But our superpower is actually our society. It is our ability to come together and collectively work on shared problems.
