Walkway from Scout Hall to Bayview Baths

For many years, there had been increasing community concern about the dangers of the deteriorating walkway between the Scout Hall and the Bayview Baths. 

Over this time, BCPRA consistently lobbied Pittwater, then Northern Beaches, Council, for improvement to this busy part of the continuous path from Mona Vale to Church Point.  Supported by BCPRA lobbying and community consultation and with suitable funding obtained, work commenced on this portion of the walkway in February 2024. 

On 23 July 2024, the greatly improved walkway was officially opened by Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins accompanied by BCPRA President Peter Blanchard, Vice  President Stephen Todd and Secretary Dr Jenny Rosen.
